Volunteer Spotlight

Dr. Waters and Kathy

Dr. John Waters and Kathy Russell work on a patient during our Friday dental clinic

The Anderson Free Clinic is blessed to have over 200 volunteers who give their time and expertise every month to make life better for more than 1250 patients in Anderson County. The clinics in Anderson and Honea Path together have provided 3600 medical office visits, hundreds of dental procedures, and prescription assistance services for these patients. Every week, individuals in the community apply to become new patients.

Our volunteers are a very special family of people who are like-minded and driven to help those in our area who are less fortunate. This is a series of “spotlights” which will focus on one day, one morning or afternoon in one of our locations and give our supporters in the community a picture of the generous, caring individuals who provide 75% of our workforce.
