Anderson Free Clinic Needs Volunteers!!

We would like to invite you to put your talents and skills to good use helping the Free Clinic in its mission to provide healthcare to residents of Anderson County who can’t afford it. We have a very small staff and depend upon the generosity of volunteers to help operate the Clinic. Simply put – without YOU, the Free Clinic would not exist! Look over these opportunities, and call us (phone number below) if you can help out in any of these areas. Bring us some basic skills and an enthusiasm for helping others, and the Free Clinic staff will train you to the specific skills/ requirements of the job. (See Free Clinic hours below)

  Medical and Dental Volunteers

A team of physicians, dentists, nurses, pharmacists, and numerous others volunteer their time and talents to keep the clinic open. Volunteers are supported by a small paid staff. In addition to the volunteers in the clinic, there are specialty physicians and dentists who accept referrals in their offices at no charge. Many have been volunteering their time and energy since the Clinic’s beginning. The Clinic is in particular need of volunteer doctors, nurses, and dentists. Please contact Executive Director Barb Baptista for more information (226-1294, ext. 222 or Barb.Baptista@anmedhealth.org).
