How to Help
Ways to make a Difference
Our success is due to our dedicated volunteers and generous supporters from the community. Our volunteers serve many of the primary functions that keep the clinic running and our patients healthy. Our community supporters help us provide the necessary medications and equipment required for our patients’ care. Together, these roles help to insure our continued existence and our success in maintaining a healthier community. You can help the Anderson Free Clinic continue to provide free, comprehensive medical care to the Anderson County area by donating time, money, or items on our Wish List.
During clinic hours, volunteers are needed to help in many different positions. Over 100 volunteers help at the clinic, performing duties such as answering phones, filling prescriptions, and assisting with record keeping. Find out more about volunteering on our Volunteers page.
Donations of money, office supplies, medical equipment, and other useful items are always welcome and appreciated. Please visit our Wish List page to find out what items are currently needed or our donations page to find out how to make a monetary donation.
Walk with the Docs and Las Vegas Gala are two major fundraising events of the year. The 2013 Walk will be held on Saturday, March 16 and the Gala in September. Volunteers and financial supporters are essential to the success of these events!

Plan Future Events with AFC as the charity recipient of your generosity
The Anderson Free Clinic greatly appreciates when organizations host an event to raise funds to help us provide needed healthcare to Anderson’s underserved. We have a number of ideas for different, small or larger fundraising events. Please call Barb Baptista at (706) 525-9644 if you or your group of friends, church, civic group, club, etc would like to explore the possibilities!
