For Patients
The Anderson and Honea Path Free Clinics offer medical and dental care and pharmacy services. All individuals interested in using Free Clinic services must first meet with the Intake Coordinator and qualify to become a patient. More information is available by calling 864-226-1294, x250.
The Free Clinic is now accepting new patients.
It is an application process and every one who wants to become a patient will need to be at the Clinic on Wednesday’s at 9:00 a.m.
You must bring in the following information:
House hold income for the last 30 days.
–We consider wages, Social Security, Pension, child support, alimony, unemployment and food stamps (SNAP) as income.
If someone is providing you shelter we require a statement from them saying they are doing so. This letter needs to be signed and dated by the provider.
If you live in government assisted housing please bring the lease agreement.
If you are paid in cash by your employer we need a statement on a company letterhead stating the amount and how often you are paid.
If you have been living off of savings you will be required to bring a bank statement.

Medicaid denial letter. A letter can be obtained by calling 864-512-4733 or 512-1289 and requesting one.
If this information is not with the patient when they arrive to be screened they will be asked to come back the next Wednesday with all of their information.
On the day of your screening:
You will fill out the application, see a screener and if you are approved, your name will be placed in a lottery. Twenty names are drawn every two weeks. If your name is drawn, you will be contacted by the clinic to finalize paper work and get an appointment to see a doctor at the clinic.
We are not accepting new patients for pharmacy services at this time and the patient will be responsible for having their prescriptions filled.
