The Anderson Free Clinic

The Anderson Free Clinic, one of South Carolina’s first comprehensive free healthcare clinics, believes that high-quality healthcare is the right of all individuals. The Free Clinic serves the Anderson community by providing physician visits, specialty clinics, dental clinics, and pharmacy services to qualified individuals.

Community Involvement

Since December of 1984, the Anderson Free Clinic has provided medical and pharmaceutical services to people who cannot afford private medical care.

Our success is due to our dedicated volunteers and generous support from the community. Our volunteers serve many of the primary functions that keep our clinic running and our patients healthy. Community support helps us provide the necessary medications and equipment required to serve our patients. The combination of community volunteers and monetary support is vital to our existence and keeping our patients healthy.

Walk with the Docs

Looking to spend some time outside?  Wishing there was a way to get some exercise while helping the community?  Support the Anderson Free Clinic, get some sun and burn some calories by coming to the annual Walk with the Docs on Saturday, March 15.

Walks will be held in Anderson and Honea Path to benefit the Anderson Free Clinic and its satellite clinic in Honea Path.  The Anderson Walk will take place at Chris Taylor Memorial Park next to the Anderson Civic Center.  Registration begins at 9:00 a.m., with the Walk starting at 9:45 a.m.

The Honea Path Walk will start from the Honea Path Middle School football field.  Registration begins at 10:45 a.m., and the Walk will start at 11:00 a.m.

Last year’s Walk was the most successful ever, with over $76,000 raised.  With every dollar raised, the Clinic is able to provide ten dollars worth of medical services.
